Language Classes:

Playgroup: Age 3-5

Time: 3:45pm - 4:30pm

Kids love this class where students learn to speak Chinese through games, songs and interpersonal activities.

Conversation Class: Age 6 and up

Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

This class is designed for non-heritage students with no Chinese language background, or who would like to practice speaking Chinese. Students will be able to communicate in typical daily conversation and will be prepared for the Level 2 class. (Pinyin and traditional characters will be taught).

Beginner Class (level 1): Age 6 and up

Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

This Beginner Class is designed for students with no previous language background. The curriculum will be focused on learning phonetic symbols and tones, which are essential for learning Chinese language (Zhu-yin and traditional characters will be taught).

Level 2-Level 9: Age 7 and up
Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Focus is on Chinese phonetic pronunciation, speaking, writing and reading. Our school uses the MeiZhou Huayu (Learning Chinese in America) series.   They are written and edited by the National Council of Associations of Chinese Language Schools (NCACLS).

Special Interest Class: High school and up
Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
This class is designed for students who would like to practice their skills after learning Chinese. It will be focused on all prospects of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
