Culture Classes
After language classes, this semester we are offering 3 culture classes at 3:45pm to 4:30pm.
Besides, we have two supervised clubs for the students to share their interests.
Chinese Arts
Instructor: Mrs. XiaPing Wang
This class can include topics on: Origami, Water painting, Mosaics, Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, or Shan Shui Painting. The exact class content will depends on the student’s preference and available material.
Songs and Games in Chinese
Instructor: Mrs. Catherine Shih
Students will be singing songs and playing games in Chinese. The songs and games are not necessary Chinese but they are sung and played in Chinese to reinforce the Chinese words they learned in a playful environment.
Chinese WuShu (Kung Fu)
Instructor: Mr. Stanton Wong This semester, Mr. Wong will concentrate on the forms and swords. For the students who were here last year, they would have the swords already. New students will start with the forms first.
Chinese Yo-Yo Club
Students are required to bring their own yo-yo. There will be no instruction, but adult supervision is available.
Chess and Go sets will be available for students to play with. There will be no instruction, but adult supervision is available.
