Cantonese Opera Coming to Dutchess County Press Release...
The Mid-Hudson Chinese Language Center was recently awarded a 2012 Project Grant by the Dutchess County Arts Council for "Colorful China : Cantonese Opera” Project*. This 2-part project includes a traditional Chinese folk art theatrical performance on February 4, 2012 and an 8 week workshop series, aiming to introduce this unique art form to Dutchess County.

The Dutchess County Arts Council (DCAC) Folk Arts Program and the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum, in collaboration with Mid-Hudson Chinese Language Center, present a Chinese New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 10:30 am-11:30 am at the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum.
