The Lunch Box offers a free meal program that serves a hot meal to the unemployed, the homeless, and those without enough money to get through the month.  For the past few years, each year kids from our school volunteered to help to serve food for a day.  This year, the date is:

 

 

This program is opened to all middle to high school aged students.  Students must sign up with Ms. Kathy King, PTA, 845-229-2431 or katysue43@aol.com and provide her with the correct spelling of their name as they would like it on the community service letter.  Each participant will get a letter of community service from Dutchess Outreach. 

 

Please arrive at 5:00pm at the Lunch Box at 29 N Hamilton St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.  We should be done by about 6:30pm.

 

Note:  There is also a ceremony in June for recognition by Dutchess Outreach.
